BEHIND THE ECLIPSE

Two seasons in, and the Heroes phenomenon just keeps getting bigger, so Heroes Magazine is here to provide a bi-monthly companion that the breathtaking show deserves! With content that only the official magazine can offer, your Heroes experience won’t be complete without it!

ALL THE HEROES NEWS

We bring you all the developments from the world of Heroes, including the latest update on how the well-publicised writers' strike is affecting season two, and also the situation with the much-anticipated spin-off Heroes: Origins. Plus, Linderman’s first name revealed, and much more!

Hiro of the Hour

Masi Oka talks to Heroes Magazine! His iconic character Hiro Nakamura has teleported across the world, traveled back to 17th Century Japan, and got into plenty of adventures along the way. He’s having the time of his life, and the same can be said for the lively Oka! The busy actor discusses all things Heroes and Hiro in this issue.

Dark Star: Zachary Quinto

With his insatiable appetite for power and his terrifying penchant for murder, Heroes’ Sylar has emerged from the shadows as a hugely significant character. The man behind the evil, Zachary Quinto, discusses being bad in this issue: “Many personal perspectives are drawn upon to understand the motivation of this character because, ultimately, that is all I need to do as an actor. I don’t look at it like, “Oh, I must find he darkness within me.” I have to find the way in which someone can be driven to go as far as this character goes.”

Claire’s Grossest Injuries

The tone was set in the very first episode of Heroes, when high school student Claire Bennet, totally unfazed, poked her protruding ribs back under her skin after jumping off a platform some 70 feet off the ground. A whole season and a few episodes later, and the regenerating cheerleader’s injuries have definitely clocked up – boy, has she broken a lot of bones! In this issue of Heroes Magazine, we take a close look at Claire’s 10 most disgusting injuries – in short, the best of her worst moments. Not a feature for the faint-hearted!

The Haitian speaks

Since his first appearance in episode three of season one, the brooding Haitian has captured the imaginations of Heroes fans world-wide. He’s a man of few words, but thankfully, for his interview with Heroes Magazine, Jimmy Jean-Louis proved to be a lot more talkative! We get the inside scoop on one of the show’s most mysterious characters: “I like the fact that I don’t say too much, but when I say something, it’s quite powerful. I think people will always be interested in something they don’t quite understand; that’s how the character remains fresh.”
