IN THIS ISSUE...

Behind the Eclipse

With the very best cast interviews and behind-the-scenes features, Heroes Magazine is your official bi-monthly companion to the Heroes phenomenon! Our official links with the Heroes creative team mean the kind of content that loyal fans deserve – your Heroes experience won’t be complete without it!

All the Heroes News

We bring you all the latest Heroes news, including a few tidbits of what to expect from volume three, which is entitled ‘Villains.’ One likely offshoot of the ongoing writers' strike is a bigger role for Sylar – Zachary Quinto should be finished filming the Star Trek movie and be ready for action when the strike ends!

Tim Sale

Comic-book artist Tim Sale provides the visual world of Heroes with one on its most striking elements – the prophetic artwork of heroin addict Isaac Mendez. In this issue of Heroes Magazine, we speak to Sale about his brilliant work – he reveals his favorite pieces and tells us how he got the Heroes gig.

Danger Girl – Hayden Panettiere

Hayden Panettiere leads the way with this issue’s unmissable interviews with the Heroes cast. We talk to the popular 18-year-old actress about her time on the show so far, and the evolution of her role as indestructible cheerleader Claire Bennet: ‘I think I’ve sometimes been typecast because I’m blonde. You don’t get to play villains if you’re blonde. People look at me as very sweet sometimes, and I would never in a million years describe myself as sweet, never! It’s more fun to be bad – at least on the screen.’

Family Matters

We interview the actors behind a family whose life is never straightforward on Heroes. Once happy, things changed for the Sanders when Jessica became a part of Niki’s personality and they became a family at war. But with D.L. gone and Niki’s fate uncertain, is Micah the only Sanders family member left? We get the inside scoop from Ali Larter, Leonard Roberts, and Noah Gray-Cabey. Also in this issue, Cristine Rose (Mrs. Petrelli) talks about her dramatic time on the show so far, and Dana Davis (Monica) reveals her personal heroes.

The Powers That Be

The remarkable powers of Peter Petrelli first became apparent right back at the beginning of Heroes, when he jumped off the roof to prove to his brother Nathan that he could fly. He really started to understand the nature of his gift when he absorbed Isaac’s power of precognition, and with unlimited potential to master new powers, he’s so far taken on 20 distinct abilities. In a new regular feature taking an in-depth look at the powers of the individual Heroes characters, we put the spotlight on the show’s very own Super Man, Peter Petrelli.
